Chrome River
NOVA × VEX
Graffiti collective · est. walls first
Painted where the city still listens.
The collective
MISFITS works at the scale of cities — wildstyle lettering, characters, chrome fills, and wheatpaste that peels with the weather. The walls come first. Galleries, films, and commissions come after — if they earn it.
Formed across yards and night shifts, the collective treats graffiti as a living language: pressure, timing, surface, and risk. No house style. Shared nerve.

Writers
Each hand stays distinct. The MISFITS name is the only thing they share on a wall — and even that gets rewritten.
São Paulo → Berlin
Wildstyle / lettering
Builds letters that refuse to sit still — interlocking forms that read as architecture before they read as alphabet.
Los Angeles
Characters / large-scale
Figures that lean off brick — half myth, half neighborhood gossip. Known for pieces that stop traffic without asking permission.
Mexico City
Color / abstract fills
Treats the wall like a score — pressure, fade, and chrome layered until the surface starts humming.
New York
Throw-ups / transit
Speed as craft. Lines cut clean under sodium light — work meant to move with the city that hosts it.
Tokyo → London
Wheatpaste / mixed media
Paper, paste, and photography that peel with the weather. Documents the collective the way walls document everything else.

Commissions & runs
Lisbon Metro · 2024
200m continuous lettering along a decommissioned platform — painted in three nights with local writers.
Eastern Seaboard · 2023
A closed session documented as film stills — no commission, no audience, only the work.
Shibuya, Tokyo · 2025
Wheatpaste mural over a construction hoarding — peeled and replaced weekly for two months.
About
MISFITS is not a brand studio with a graffiti filter. It is a crew that still paints illegally when the work demands it, and legally when a wall is worth the contract.
Documentation matters — film, stills, and torn paper archives — but the piece on the wall is the only proof that counts.

Murals, documented runs, exhibitions, and film. Write with a location, timeline, and why the surface matters.
